Default i neeeeed serious crx harness helppp!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

is there a difference between the wiring harness for the 88-89 crx si and the 90-91 crx si? i have an 88 crx si, the injector resistor box plugs in fine... but the plug next to it is rectangular coming out of the car, and round off the motor. do i just need a harness from an 88-89 crx si or do i have a bigger problem than i think on my hands?

instead of having the round harness mounted on the chassis i have a small rectangular box for it help me plz.

I had the same problem but mine was a 89 Crx and I had gave away my orignal engine harness with my motor . I thought a Da Teg would work (Which it did except the End connector next to the drhich ivers side firewall whappend to be a Circle ) I had a Square connector(Da Harness = square connector). So i ditched the harness and came across a 90 Civic Si Harness which happend to have the circle connector that i needed

Yeah I had similar problems with this, the solution is to simply either cut both plugs off and directly wire the two together (match up colors) or you can find any 89-91 crx (MPFI) main car plug (circular plug that comes out from the fire wall) and replace your square plug with the new circular one. there may also be a conversion harness.

rule one, dont mix and match at all... 88 si is 1 design, and 89-91 si is another... they are close hovever, just remove the blue and blk/yel wires for the fast idle valve on the 89-91 and match up the rest... problem solved
