I'm hoping soon, very soon. Got a big interview this Wed. for a job doing automotive testing for military vehicles like the m1 tank, bradley fighting vehicle, hummer, and other ****. I'm pumped about the opportunity and hoping for an early Christmas gift by getting that job

Good luck with the new job man. I interviewed with the tax comission today. The pay ins't the best but I still hope I get the job. After 7 years in retail I am really looking forward to a desk job.

i was looking at those the other day on their web site. can that or the 5.5 be plated in CA you think? Sometimes i feel like i am just chasing a ghost trying to get a motard plated here.

The Aprilia rep I spoke with at the Long Beach show said the street legal versions of the SXV 4.5 and 5.5 should be here next year (2007).
Otherwise, the chances of getting a CA-plated, converted motard is practically nil. If you must have one, you could try getting an out-of-state plate (such as AZ), where their laws are more 'tard-friendly. A friend of mine did that with his SXV4.5.

I thought I had read on SMJ or Thumpertalk of people getting them plated in California some weird way. Like it being a special purpose vehicle or something? Maybe it wasn't in California though?
