Default KYB AGX question

It just came to mind that my AGXs didn't come with the KYB logo and didn't have the black **** on them either. They're just plain red, with the adjusters on the top (1-4)

Are they fake or do they not all come with the black ****?

There should be KYB perpendicular to AGX right before the "A"

Edit: I think some of them come with stickers to put on the AGX?

Are these the OEM replacements, or the adjustable? I always get them mixed up.

I know one is the AGX, and one is the GR2. Im pretty sure the AGX's are the oem replacements, and the GR2's are the more expensive adjustables.

To the OP....are there any kinds of part numbers on them? Did you purchase them new or used? Just curious.

The AGX are adjutable, the GR-2s are OEM replacement. They came in KYB boxes and all, but no **** and no stickers.

I got them new on Ebay...starting to think these are the older gen or maybe fakes?

Bump for a definite answer

I have KYB AGX adjustable struts on my 96 Civic Sedan. They have black ***** on the rear struts and tiny adjusters inside the top of the piston for the front struts. What model and year did you buy them for?

thats correct, anything else is FAKE. no matter stickers or what.

by the way, they are lifetime warranty, so if you feel the need go to a KYB dealer, not sure what part stores are in your area, and buy a new set, stick them in the boxes of the ones you just bought and return for the money. problem solved, and im sure if someone is selling FAKE KYB's they wanna know about it anyhow.
