Default best box for 12" W3?

well i went shopping today for a new box for my W3 and i hit up best buy, circuit city and tweeter. i currently have a dual sub box and looking for a new single sub box now that i sold one of my W3s. the guy at tweeter said that my sub will sound like **** in anything else than their custom built boxes for the W3s. i asked him if the Qlogic boxes were any good and he still said no. i don't feel like spending aother $80 on a single sub box and need to find one soon. wat are sum good alternatives to a good box for my 12"W3?

break out your tools and make your own. itll cost you $35 if you already own the tools. W3s will sound good in a sealed box, which are very easy to make. just follow JLs specs.

I agree with mangina on this one...build your own.

I would read the tutorial section at jlaudio.com top to bottom. They provide some very good info that is pretty thin on jargon, and good for those who are looking to build their own box for the first time.
