Default light pulsation problem?

OK, I have a weird electrical problem on my crx. When i have my headlights on when the engine is running my interior and exterior lights pulsate. They dim then go back to normal in a fast pattern almost like a strobe light. But with the engine off and lights on it doesn't pulsate. I have no idea where to start. Especially since it only happens when the motor is running.

Anyone have this problem or any ideas what to check?

No codes on the computer either. Thanks

my guess would be a faulty voltage regulator - part of the alternator assembly. that would explain why it only happens with the engine running....

i would try testing the voltage to the underhood fusebox with the engine running, and with just the key "on"....check for irregular readings or fluctuations...?

I'm having same issues with my DB8. I think its on the door. You know how there's a sensor that when you open and close your door then your light will turn on/off. I think the door is somewhat loose or the sensor is to sensitive. Hope we'll find the problem-I hate it!

When my car was doing that it was the alternator. Put in a new one and now no problems whatsoever.
