d2 coilovers , how do i set up the spring rate ..?
i have just bought some d2 coilovers for my 2000 civic vti , the installation manual that came with the coilovers is a load of shyte ..!!! no information about setting up the ride height ,damping or spring rate ..!!
ok , the problem , the coil spring , how far do i wind/tension/load the spring up , i don't want to tension to hard to cause it to crack and the other way i don't want to leave it to loose because it might effect the drive ... ! what i've done is just lock the the spring using the lock and retaining device leaving the coil spring JUST slightly compressed , the car rides and drives fine , but i really do want to get the most out of these coilovers ,
any help appreciated ... thanks guys
