rear shock
i was trying to take off my passenger rear shock and the bottom screw was a bitch to take off and it snap cause it was stuck in the middle where i guess the bushing was what i wanted to know if its replaceble with another screw that fits or it needs the same kind of screw
yeah its like the screw got stuck in the middel of that metal tube thing guess its the one that goes in the arm where all the rubber **** is rubber but i think since the shocks where never changes before the screw got stuck in the middel of that tube thing and wouldnt let the screw come out so i forced it and the screw broke its still hanging on shock with the tube thing stuck on to it i had to bend one of the things in the bottom of shock so it can come out and it came out but with screw and that tube thing still on
sounds like you need some new bushings too. I have a set of energy susp bushings, for the rear and a set already in a set of si arms tell me if you need them

what is lca and yeah i had to rip it out cause there was no other way to get it out it was so hard that it broke the end of the screw from trying to screw it out so now all gotta do is get a new screw and the bushing or they dont sell a bushing for that part and i have to buy the whole new arm
Grind off the bolt head and the nut on the rear shock. weld on a new nut and use a grade 10.9 bolt.
You need to remove the LCA. Spray the living crap out of the hardware with penetrating oil...if you are lucky the other two bolts wont snap. Replace all 3 bushings. They are $13.88 each from hondaautomotiveparts.com. Two small ones on each end and a big one for the shock. Take the arm to a machine shop or auto repair shop, the bushings need to be pressed out and the new ones pressed in.
I had to do the same not too long ago.

im pretty sure they do, call honda and find out.

well, an lca from the junk yard would be the same price as a bushing from honda. then you have to have the new bushing pressed in if you cant do it yourself, which would cost a little more. if you wanna do aftermarket then thats on you
yeah ill just buy the aftermarket bushing for that thing and put it in somehow cause i dont wanna end up trying to take of the whole lca a then break something or snap something else
i ran into this problem a few months ago when changing the rear struts. save yourself some time and stress and just listen to these guys. i wish i read this before i went through all the trouble i did. just spray the hell out of the lca bolts and replace it. it's muuuuuuuuuuch cheaper and easier. btw, wth did you do to your strut arm things? good luck and remember junkyard parts ftw

rack/pinion is for steering. and to change an lca isn't hard @ all. its connect at 3 points, the bottom of the drum brake, the shock, and follow back to find the next bolt between the ears. jack up the car from the tow hook, then put it on a stands on both sides. lower the jack, make sure the jack stands are going to rest on the reinforced plate under the rocker panel. then get a 14mm socket undo the bolts.. if you have stock suspension when going to install the new lca install the back bolt first (but not tight). then jack up on the lca push it up and connect it to the shock/under drum brake. job done make sure everything is tight. drop the car, now you da man.

lower control arms from an 88 are different. this was already posted, but here you go for reference.

also, if you have the time, you can remove and replace the bushing yourself. removing the old bushing from the arm is a bitch, unless you plan on getting it pressed out. good luck!

Before you do, spray the crap out of the bolts with PB Blaster, they sell it at auto parts stores or Wal-Mart.
