well if you want to put it in your car just take out the old motor and swap it in. if you want more power then do a MPFI swap. thats the only thing i hate about them DX cars

It's a great motor. I had it in my CRX and it's going into my new hatch I'll be purchasing.

I swapped it in myself, converted to OBD1 with a P28 (also had P08 once).

You'll have the DPFI to MPFI Conversion to do first of course. It is optional to go OBD1 but I recommend you do so. (Proper way to control VTEC)

Re-use your entire driverside motor mount from the car the motor is going into. (92-95 mount that comes with motor won't work on EF/ED Chassis)

You'll need to do a little custom wiring to hook up the VTEC components as well as the new relocated Coolant Fan Switch. The switch was on the backside of the block next to the Oil Pressure Switch and Oil Filter but on the JDM D15B VTEC it is located on the Thermostat Housing and uses the same plug type as your EACV/IACV rather than the old style.

im confuse, do you still have to run them two wires to the distributor if you go with a obd1 distributor?? I was also reading that if going with the obd1 injectors that only 1 of the wire from the dpfi can power all 4 injectors, am I correct? Sorry to thread jack yo.

Which two distributor wires do you speak of?

Injectors all get the same power source... The ECU grounds each Injector individually though. This is regardless to Peak and Hold (OBD-0 MPFI) or Saturated (OBD-1 or OBD-2)

OBD-1/2 use no Injector Resistor Box. OBD-0 Injectors will use the Resistor Box. If you don't, you will burn them out.

^ thats still a good source but thats only if staying obd0. There is no walk through for converting to obd1 when doing mpfi.
