Default ek type r lip onto ef?

I have a friend who will give me a great deal on a type r style lip for his 00 civic Si...now my question is will it fit on my ef? and has anyone done this before? ive seen them cut and melted and all that stuff to get them to fit...but how hard is it?

heres a pic of the lip for reference...

it should if you try hard enough...there are a couple of threads about other lips going onto rex's probably will have to cut it in the middle...but that can be hid easy...goodluck
