i have some brembo cross-slotted/drill brake rotors off my previous 5th gen Ex....i wonder it it would fit my 92 Dx h/b ...thanks

 

If your previous EX was an auto tranny then no, it won't fit. For some reason, the rotors on the 5th gen auto tranny EX were larger than the rotors on the manual tranny EX as well as the other Civic models. Assuming both your old EX and your new DX are manual trannies, then it should fit.

 

how would the auto or manny tran matter its brake rotors...i dont get it

EX autos and 4 door EX 5 speeds got the bigger Teg brakes.

99% sure your old rotors won't fit onto your DX HB.

 

92-93 civic all have the smaller 9.5in brakes, honda switched to larger braked in 94 and have used the same setup from then to the 00 year. As far as i know all 94-00 civics have the same front brakes.

 

yes true...so since this was off a 93 ex coupe and now i got a 92 dx h/b they should be the same or even close in size that it should fit ...right?

 

I would think so man. YOu will have to compare the two and try it out. I'm not 100% positive but i'm leaning on 99.9% that they are infact the same part.

c5allmotor is right. . . .. your rotors will fit, but not the calipers. . . .ex rotors are larger than the cx/dx rotors.....i

 

Well someone prove to me that the calipers are infact bigger. Show me pics and part numbers or something. I don't think honda would do that. I could be wrong but i wont believe it untill i see it.
