im looking for a gsr motor to put in my hatchback. i dont know which to get a usdm gsr motor which is 170hp 121trq 10.1 compression or a jdm one that has low miles and 180hp 126trq 10.6 compression. what do you guys think im leaning towards the jdm one but is there any reasons to get the usdm one besides lower comp for turbo??

yeah their's not too much difference, but with the JDM you get the pride

 

pride of what? claiming a JDM GSR ? ?never heard of one of those..


but if you have any kind of smog laws preventing the use of J-OEM motors... id prefer to go with a US-OEM GSR motor.... but thats me and im in california...

 

USDM all the way....... mine with skunk2 man and dc header, intake , ex. i ran a 14.1 ...... consider that strip interoir with some gay tires.

 

just get a USDM........the only thing that the JDM engines have SOMETIMES is a higher compression.....woopy friggen deal!!!!!!!!

 

do you guys know where i can get a usdm one with low miles on it complete
