Just looking at this thread about a CRX Si-R, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1838941 , it says it has ABS...
So what goes into adding abs to a crx? I should be getting a 91 DX this weekend! (Had an 89dx).
Wheel sensors, wiring... umm... control unit for ABS... a dash light/brake light indicator? I want to know!

why would you want abs? Its better to learn the limit of your tires and brakes and drive accordingly. Much better for performance

Maybe in the era of ABS that was on the 4th gens but that story is bunk now.
As far as converting, it's easier and cheaper to buy one with it then even try installing.
None of the US models had ABS as far as I am aware, then again most of the forgien ppl pull it as it was made for stock cars and normal sane lowspeed driving, unlike newer cars whos ABS can deal with some stupid moves.
I would say deal with out ABS, still a good skill to pick up or get a car with ABS.
