Default ABS standard?

OK this sounds like a really newb question but anyways how do I know if I have abs on my 5th gen. I need to replace my cv shaft and the parts guy need to know if its the one with abs or not. Now I thought all 5th gens came standard with abs. I dont remember ever seeing an abs light but I get that abs-ish veibration when you slam the brakes. Any obvious guaranteed way to know. Mind you the car doesnt drive at the moment.

ABS should be standard on the 5th gen. I know because my ABS light comes on when I start the car.

I've never heard of ABS as optional equipment on the 5th gen. either.
