the only turbo kit I have heard of needing a 4" exhaust is the Full-Race stage 5 that is coming out in January. 3" should be sufficient.

3" exhaust is fine for your turbo selection

I'm trying to go 4" now but I want 750+

It's a myth about smaller exhaust giving more torque, yadda, yadda.
3" is fine for 300hp, but maybe if you have big plans do a 3.5".
My tuner runs dual 3.5" on his 534whp n/a 'stang.
If you were half of that, at 270whp, you should have a single 3.5".
He has many graphs of similar combos even before when he was at
370whp, smaller exhaust was always down somewhere compared to his,
most times everywhere.

Just my .02

Going bigger then 3" is sometimes hard to fit on a lowered import, this is why 3" has seem to become the standard MO for boosted Honda's.

"some back pressure is needed."

Absolute myth.
It's true about huge exhaust being hard to fit though.

well whatever. just pick up a book o the subject and all triths will be revealed. going on info set out by Corky Bell and Gale Banks, all turbocharger systems require a sufficient amount of backpressure for maximum results out of it. but i guess all three of us are wrong and you know everything. even more than the guy " Gale Banks" that set a land speed record in a turocharged car.
