Default 90' Accord Speedometer not working, plz help.

The other day I noticed mt battery cable was loose, so I took it off and cleaned it and put it back on. Now my speedometer isnt working. I dont think my detaching and reattaching a battry cable would have anything to do with it. But its the only thing I can think of.
Any Ideas of what happened and how I can fix it would be great
thanks.

Check your fuses, happened to my 92 the day I bought it. It blew the fuse for all the gauges, the dome light, the interior lights, and the rear defroster. Just a matter of replacing the fuses that was all.

Well, about an hour after creating this thread, the speedometer started working again.

2 minutes ago I go to get out of the car and it makes this weird ******* whining noise. The seatbelt stopped half way down the track, and the car wouldn't start.

I shut the door, the seatbelt went back, then I got back in, started it up, and the speedometer went from 0-140 then right down to 0 again (Rotated 360 degrees clockwise).

Anyone know WTF is going on here?

Okay, I just drove home and figured out that once I hit 70mph the speedometer fixes itself.

Speed Sensor?

my cd6 (96) had a problem similar to that, sometimes out of nowhere the speedometer would just go crazy and point straight down, i would just have to take 3rd all the way out and hit 100mph and it would work fine again. the problem wasn't my speed sensor it was the gauge. the reason i know this is i put in the JDM cluster and haven't had a problem since...
