It's making power, but not your peak power.

That sucker likes to rev.

Now swap in a longer-stroke crank, and make some real power.

yes. vtec is at 7200.

when i tried lowering it, it loses power big time. it only likes 7200 vtec.

tuned with crome pro of course.

yup. i tried 5500, i got a HUGE dip. tried 6000. still got a dip. 7000 still has a little dip. 7200 worked perfectly

no spin when taking off, but pulls hard at high rpm

taiwan cams are called zspeed. i believe these are skunk2 copies from taiwan. cam gears as well are zspeed. we have a lot of copies here in the philippines. from DVDs to LV bags to Skunk2 Cams. lol

He's in the Phillipines. They work with over 150 languages. If he slips a little on his written English cut him some slack. How many languages are you fluent in?

And for a B16 it's pretty decent power.

i agree. it is very good power. just needs a little cleaning up in a certain area.
and it might accumulate some more.

you guys have to understand that dip isnt so much a dip as it is a gap in his cam profiles. if you look at skunk2 stage 2 VS skunk2 pro 1 dynos youll see thats the place they make the biggest gains. right before the big cam turns on but after the nice happy econo primary has ran out of steam.

its just kind of exagerated on a motor like this that spins to 10k and has a relatively large vtec cam profile on a small motor.

heres an example of what im talking about on a h22 https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1836464

thats a lot of power for a 1.6. nice build. u can actually raise VTEC even higher to get rid of that dip. i say 7.3-7.4K will be perfect
