Anyone had their R Stolen in the Savannah, GA / New Jersey ?
Ok let me explain....
So I go out last night to Savannah, GA where the local car scene is. I pull up and to my surprise there is a "98 ITR" with a JDM front. I was pretty impressed although the car was in rough shape; dings no car washes etc. The guy comes over to me and says "Whats up, I got an R too". He had just baught the car a few weeks back with a blown motor in New Jersey (he said the town I just forgot). I ask what number his ITR is. He says he has no clue so I look at his arm rest and its scratched out. The kid starts to bullshit, saying his car runs low 12's and that he has over 10k in the motor, but that definately wasn't the case. Car ran like crap and said he needs it tuned. I also found it wierd that everything from the motor to his 5 lug was just carelessly installed almost like a hack job... the usual scratches, some nuts left off etc. The car had 100% full ITR interior, wheels, motor, 5 lug conv. So I look at his vin and bam... its a DC4. When i pulled his punk card he was like "I know its just an RS integra". Me and my friend began to flame his *** just as the cops came and kicked us out. Everyone who saw the car found it really fishy also. It was too dark to look at the motor more closely but next time I see him I will. I'll give him the benefit of the daubt that he baught everything, but to me its more than likely stolen. Anyways im just seeing if there has been any recent stolen R's in the Savannah, GA or New Jersey area. Just lookin out.

At this point there are so many junked R's and jdm parts that it almost impossible to find out if its stolen, though it may look fishy, more often times than not these kids are just RICEBOYS with swolen pockets and no mechanic skills.

Could very well be the stolen parts, just not the same car. The DC4 shell in the stolen thread was recovered.
The scratched out Badge # is a big red flag. There is NO reason to do that unless it's stolen. If you see him again, try to get the engine block serial number, maybe the OP in the other thread has a record of his...
