Default high compression valves?

does anybody know how much omni flat faced valves will decrease the combustion chamber volume on a B16? i need to know so i can figure out what i want to do with the rest of my engine

Omni states its usually around .2-.3 but its different in every engine. In some heads, you may even lose compression.

i know thats what they say the Compression Ratio increse is. what i'm looking for is what the change in combustion chamber volume is. i dont have the tools to measure it

You mean as in CC increase/decrease? If you dont have the tools to measure it but still want the info, take it to someone who does have the tools, dont expect to find the answer on HT.

It should reduce the combustion chamber volume by approximately 1-1.2cc or so. This will give you about a .2 bump in compression.

Yea, in the end it will usually raise static CR by about .2-.3, but unless you measure it, youll never know.
