should I buy this seat for my itr powered beast?
I like it.
Whether or not I would buy it however, would have to depend on how old it is, from the looks of it, it's pretty new. I'd scoop it up

That's one of the new OMP models? If so I'd get it if it fits you, looks to be a good seat. I have a OMP seat (Big) myself and I'm pleased with the quality and comfort, I have had a couple of 10-12 hour trips in it without too much suffering.

is that considered a hans device? if you were going to get seats with head restraints, I would make sure that it is actually a hans device and not somthing that the seat manufacturer stuck on there.
IMHO, I would not but a seat with head restraint unless it was a hans.

HANS is a separate neck restraint that you wear under the shoulder belts that attaches to the helmet. A seat with side head support/protection is not part of the setup, but is nice to have anyways.

Looks like mine - an OMP Pista. These are narrow seats, good if you have up to a 32" waist. This is a tough seat to get into and out of because of the deep bolstering. You'll need side mounts to mount it and the halo can be a bit bothersome unless you're wearing a helmet (since a helmet will obscure peripheral vision anyway). You'll also need to use a harness with this seat. A 3 pt belt won't cut it.
I wouldn't recommend this seat unless you're using it only for the track.

So you think the Sparco EVO XL would do well with my body type</TD></TR></TABLE>
How tall?
I'm 6'3" to 6'4", 200 lbs average build. 34" waist. It fits great in the hips, and shoulders. Really snug but not "pinching". But-- the shoulder harness holes are a bit too low. I took the bottom pad out, and that helped. With my Hans on, it's still a little too low for my comfort.
Keep that in mind.
