this be for gsr b18c motor-dailydriver-will be resleeved-biggerbore pistons-itr cams with futre upgrade later, usaul i/h/e camgears,fuel reg, etc.

i emailed Importbuilder, i ask max compression on 93 pumpgas(reccomendation)he say 12.5:1 can be done, with above setup and make good pwr. I hear good things from IB, although it seems a little high to me, ive read some posts were some people are running this compression, so i trust theyre judgement.

Now i would need to keep it reliable and run safely(no detonation)im thinkng low temp thermostat-radiator-redline waterwetter-keep it cool, proper tuning- in fact if i need it, which it looks like and ib says yes- hondata for maximun tuning. Am i on somewhat of the right track or a little overkill? or maybe a lower compression be advisable?

thats why i wanna hear from people actaully running this compression-any suggestions or recommendations be welcome.

there is a yellow h22a hatch that is running that up in north jersey and it runs on regular gas and he hasnt had any problems yet.....go for it

 

if your worried about it then try to shoot for 12:1

there wont be much diffrence in power with a extra .5CR
