Default Question about a 96 oil in plug

My sister just picked up a 96 accord, the car seems to have a mis fire. I went to check the plugs and noticed that the spark plug wells are full of oil.

Does this need a new valve cover gasket or something more serious?

What are the best plugs to use in this engine?

Thanks!

The search yielded no results, but I found the procedure in the FAQ.

Is 90-93 f22 motor the same as the 16V in the 96?

Thanks

Yes same procedure, replace the valve cover gasket and plug tube seals.
use a little silicone sealer at the corners of the cam hump, where the round to square part of the Valve Cover Gasket seats.

Thanks man.

I looked at the procedure, do you need to remove the cam or just losen it?

I'll read it again.

thanks again!

yeah it sounds like a valve cover gasket problem. my accord did the same thing and it was the vavle cover gasket.
