Default My new bike (for those of you who didn't know)

Went and saw it Sunday, picked her up today

2000 Ducati 748

It sounds so good.

Oh, and I bought a Haynes manual, because I know stuff is gonna break

Well of course the Monster is a lot more comfortable, but I just missed the sporty-ness of a super sport, and I love the growl of the twin with the Arrows

I'd prefer to have this over the F4i just because this is less common, but they are both great bikes, the F4i is more comfortable, but I also prefer the looks of the 748 to the Honda...even though the maintenence and what not will be a bitch

Nice bike! I'd delete the "748" sticker though. I don't like the font they use.

They'll probably be gone tomorrow when I get to some back roads

Yeah, I think it has about 35 more horsepower than the Monster.

o'rly?? so does it have a PC then? Bet a PC + filter could get some decent gains since it has the exhaust.

<--- is not able to keep anything stock

I don't think it has a PC...the seller said it might be chipped but I'm not sure. Is there a way to tell?

I'm hoping to get the 5-spoke wheels, maybe a monoposto tail, and filter in the future

not sure.... 5-spoke wheels would update the look a lot and look a lot better. I like the tail as is but the monoposto tail does clean it up some since it's no longer a seat back there + no more rear pegs (which you could probably remove now)

You may very well have a shorter vehicle attention span than RJ.

Nice motorbike. I've always preffered the looks of the older duc's to the newer version. Lucky for me the 1098 is coming out.... I might be investing in a 1.1L S model this spring

HURRAY for super expensive, easily breakable, boner machines!!!
