how many miles on those plugs? they look older than "I just bought some and they turned black". and we would need some info on the car mods, if any.

Carbon deposits will normally turn a spark plug somewhat black. Your pictures are blurry, I can't tell if its oil or carbon. Is your car consuming any oil at all?

How long has it been since the car had a fresh rotor and distributor cap?
Valve adjustment couldn't hurt either.
Better gas (with detergents/premium).

Valve adjustment, new dist. cap and rotor might help.
In all honesty, I think the MSD ignition is overkill for your setup. The OEM ignition setup is one of your cars strong points. Hell, theres guys running 600 whp, and the OEM unit functions just fine.

The cost is so low, I would replace the cap and rotor. I'm not sure what the suggested interval for replacement is, but it's common practice to change them often.

It depends how your car was tuned. Some people have had ignition issues involving detonation, misfires, and tuneability problems. There really are no pro's to having it unless your making very high WHP numbers. I'm talking way above the 600 mark.
Personally, I would sell the MSD and use the money on something else. Then again, the saying "why fix whats not broken" isn't so bad in this situation.
As far as the rotor goes, remove the Dist. Cap and inspect the rotor for signs of corrosion and wear. They cost around $10 at the local auto parts stores. Or from Acura/Honda, where I would recommend purchasing, they are $15-$20.
