maybe someone messed with the needle and its broken, you could try taking apart and seeing whats wrong

 

You either buy a new cluster, or just replace the mph section part.

You can buy just the speedometer from honda and replace that in your cluster.

You can start by turning off caps lock....then buy a new cluster...

It sounds like the pin on the cluster is broken...often times it's easier just to replace it

Edit: When I say "it" I mean the entire gauge cluster. For the simple fact that, that little pin in there is a pain in the *** and the person fixing it might just end up causing it more damage...

It's harder on the eyes - for everybody.

At OP: Did you try the cluster in another car? Or did you try another cluster in your car? (Either of those is the best start...)

sometimes, the led light might be located in the top right hand corner of the keyboard ,

as to regards to the thread check the needle.

ive taken apart and put together a few clusters and i know that if you tighten the screws too tight the needly gets stuck. Take it aprt and try it to see if it works.

 

buy a used one off of ebay. In my opinion its easier to install them, than just trying to fix them without knowing whats wrong with it.
