tranny oil
Well if your tranny is in good condition (shifts smooth), any good quality motor oil will work. Pick up about 4 quarts, it will be more than enough, but it never hurts to have extra oil on hand.
I use amsoil oil, sychromesh its 5w30. works great. GM sychromesh is also good. tranny has 240,000 still going. Don't think you can buy from autozone. They might have GM sychromesh oil.

iirc honda recommends using 10w-30 for trans fluid and im using Mobil 1 fully synthetic in mine. It should take around 1.9 quarts. Just fill it in the fill hole till fluid leaks out.
On level ground only! If you fill your trans to the bottom of the fill hole when the nose of the car is up in the air (say because you can't crawl under it with all four wheels on the ground), you will not have enough oil in the trans! This leads to clicking and worn out input shaft bearings. (Guess how I know this??)

Use regular 10w30 oil, it works just as good as regular tranny oil, only better. doesnt burn out as fast as your conventional tranny oil. I've always used it and it works well.

I highly doubt regular 10-30 works better than the stock honda transmission fluid. Reg 10-30 is not fortified with additives for gearboxes.

uhhhh yeah...honda tranny fluid.
unless someone is just a complete and total dumbass they will already know that the only fluids spec'd for a CRX tranny, straight from the shop manual or on the back of the owners manual, is either straight 30 weight, 10W30, or 10W40 depending on the temperature in the region you live in. Honda has also approved the use of their manual tranny fluid, because it wasn't even in existence yet when the CRX was created, in place of these if you would rather use it.
what do you think tranny fluid is? it's not some special "fluid". it's conventional oil with additives added to it.

Dude you have no iea what you are talking about here. Do you know Iman? I know what he is talking about. And yes I know what transmission fluid is. When I swapped his motor out the last time I found gear oil in his tranny. I would always stick with 10w30 or honda tranny fluid. I have never used any other kind of tranny fluid or other crap. And what are you trying to imply or prove by what you are saying. You have no idea what he is implying.

Dude I know exactly what I'm talking about here. I don't need to know Iman.
What I'm clearly implying is that he's an idiot for referring to differential fluid(gear oil) as "regular tranny oil" considering there's no such thing as "regular tranny oil" and for suggesting that 10W30 is "better" than this "regular tranny oil"(which we now know was differential fluid according to you). All Honda MTF is is 10W30 with additives added to it. How can 10W30 with no additives be "better" than 10W30 with additives? I'm not the one claiming regular oil is better here.
How anyone can confuse a GL5 lube with GL4 is beyond me.

I used some kind of 10w-30 syrchonized oil, im not sure the brand comes in a silver bottle by the quart and is about 4 bucks a quart, works great... also if you read the manual and the different types of oil they are classified by 2 letters.... i.e "da" "de" or something like that im not sure on the exact letters, and there is a specific type honda recommends for your car, im sure if you bought the correct kind it would always work great in your car

Exactly
i just raised my car on jackstanda all four tires in the air but somebody had said that if i put oil in the tranny with th enose up it wont get as much oil and that the car had do be straigh for it to fill up good so should i try putting more the last time i put 1 and a half quart do i need to put more
Yes. Make sure the car is level when you put the oil into the transmission. Fill it until it just starts to dribble out of the fill hole.
If you have the nose of the car way up in the air, you won't be putting enough in. Your input shaft bearing will not like you for that. I killed two transmissions that way....

Well then genius...tell us what "additives" exactly are added to "All Honda MTF 10W30 " since your the expert on the types of oil and "additives". And if you cant give us the answer i guess that makes you the "IDIOT" here, oh wait, but your the genius one right?
