Tuning the AP2 for ALL-MOTOR(NA), while staying obd2
anyway to tune an AP2 with a full NA build, higher redline, different VTEC engagement, higher compression, bigger injectors
and still keep the car OBD2 for emissions?
and still keep the car OBD2 for emissions?
Keep the small lobes on the cams conservative, tune(higher redline, earlier VTEC engagement), keep your catalytic converter on. Leave it to bolt ons.
well, i can get around the catalytic converted, i dont care about that
i want to know if i can tune the car for NA and keep it OBD2?
what would i use to tune it?

You did mention emissions, so I thought you were keeping the cat. In California, you get the dyno, the sniffer AND the OBD2 plug-in.

can you change the redline with Emanage? I know with AEM you can.

Staying NA will definately limit the HP. I would imagine 300hp would be about it, with the best tune, toda header, head work, etc..... hardly worth the trouble when you can get better hp cheaper by taking a different route.

well, that depends on your goals for the car and what it is you what your car to do
NA power delivery is much different than turbo's

You're telling that to one of the worst track ****** we have here?
Have not talked to anyone running the E-MU, so you'd have to wait for an answer.

I used to run Emanage (non-ultimate). It was pretty neat. With any piggyback system, though, your redline is staying right where it is.
I suppose there's really no other solution? No one has chipped the S2000 ECU yet? Really, that's what you need, unless you think you can get a Hondata from another application to work.
I'm looking for the answer to the same question, but more for Honda Challenge ECU requirements. The ECU has to be from "any" model of Honda, and can be chipped, but has to be a modified OEM ECU and not Motec.
Hopefully someone will figure it out

You replying to me?
Well, if it were legal, great
but it's not, and it's a PITA to tune anyway (no chipped ECU's)

yes, but with Turbo there will actually be additional power.... NA is very limited and expensive.
Lighten the car, throw some gears in it and the BPU and call it a day..... if you aren't happy, buy an EVO....ahahha.... just messin...
