Default new to forums/imports in general.

Hey guys, I'm new into the import world coming over from mustangs and muscle cars. iIam also a certified airframe and power plant mechanic for aircraft. I work on anything I can get my hands on and my newest project (with macDelli from these boards) is a nasa/scca legal race car. Pictures will be posted soon and I'm looking forward to talking with some of you and reading the boards for more info.

Thanks in advance,
Jared

Can you be more specific? Are you planning on racing in Honda Challenge? Would like to see pictures as well.

Cool, welcome aboard.

I'm not sure if you've looked at the Honda-Challenge rules in the last few weeks. There's a new class, H2, that might be a more competitive place for near-OEM swaps. It's worth a read if you haven't seen it yet.

the car is off to a not so bad start, it has...

basic 5-lug susp. its receiving a fresh re-paint within the next couple months along with a brand new scca/nasa legal 8pt. cage and a freshly built b-series n/a motor

Good luck and feel free to shoot me an email or PM if you have any questions.

One thing I would do if I were you, is to sell the 5 lug susp, and use 4 lugs. It is cheaper and there is no performance benefit to run 5 lugs. Everything else is cheaper and easier to find for 4 lugs stuff.

Save money where you can save it.

BTW, when do you think the car will be ready to make its debut?
