Default Can someone who is good with all the coolant lines/sensors on b series motors help me out a litle bi

In these pictures i have labled some items that I am unsure of the placement of coolant lines/wiring harness plugs. If anyone could help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated.- The setup is a 1994 Honda Civic SI that previously had a p30 obdI JDM b16 in it. I took that out and used a b16a2 head that was in a freinds OBD1 car along with a OBDII GSR bottom end- I am having trouble with this- THANKYOU!

^^^What is this????

now for the IAT, i know you said the head is a B16A2 which i believe is an obd2. now the I/M did that come with head or are you reusing it from the JDM B16A?

if it's from the A2 then there wouldn't be one on the I/M. it would be on the intake runner (also known as the intake pipe) and not on the mainfold like the JDM B16A (obd1).

I am using the OBDII b16a2 manifold- Im unfamiliar with what the intake pipe/runner is? where is that? Im thinking about swapping over to the jdm manifold to make it easier, but dont wana buy another gasket lol

the runner, you know it's like 3" in diameter. the pipe or oem hose that connects the throttle body to the air filter, or box.

Could I just loop L and M on the IAC for the coolant bypass and then loop M and N on the FITV and then plug O?

I have 0 looped to the intake manifold bypassing the IAC and Throttle Body.

As far as the wiring, just look the color codes up in the shop manual. It'll tell you everything you need. When I swapped an R motor into my EK Hatch, I had the wiring diagram open for the EK and Integra R. I spliced the two harnesses together using the color codes (which are mostly the same between them). It's been trouble-free for 2 years and many track events.

I could have just bought a 2000 SI harness but, I was cheap. I would have if it turned out badly.

E looks like 02 sensor
G is the iat plug
f and g goes on starter
h is speed sensor
I is crank angle sensor
J is purge valve i believe goes on top of the intake manifold on b16a2 motors
K iat is located on the intake tube on the 99-00 si motors

Your answer is very complete.

"You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day or teach him to fish and feed him for life".

I think these posters need to make some effort, like cracking the manual open or they'll never learn.

thanks for the bump - I have only the manual for EG civics- not all of it is matching up, as im using the OBDII stuff- The coolant lines are really what is bother me tho- i think i have them all figured out- As for the IAT should i just run it in the intake tube? or should i run a OBDI intake manifold? i think that might be easier-

Not that I'm condoning piracy but, the EK manual PDF's are easy to come by online too.
