I want a set of the jdm corners that match my blackhoused headlights, but I don't have an extra 40 bucks to spend till after x-mas so I decided to play with an old set of OE corners I had laying around.
I baked them in the oven just like the headlights and they came right apart. theres a little screw under the vent that holds the lens inside. Taped them up to what I thought looked good, but next time I'll round out the front corners.



painted them with a few light coats of bbq paint, them put them back together.



You can also just leave out the lens/reflector inside for all black or all clear corners as well...

How about doing the same, but "smoking" the amber part a little bit, so ... you can still see through.... but is just a darker!

 

i just did the exact same thing sunday night on a set i had around...i didnt know about the screw behind the little black tube vent and spent like an hour trying to figure out was going on!!!! so i get them all done just to find out that when i took them off i broke the plastic arms (the ones that you put the screw into to hold it on the car) off both sides!!!! i was soooo pissed!!!!

quick few questions... I have a 98 accord... n um I was wondering if you're corner lights were plastic or glass? cause I wanna paint my lights cause I cant afford to buy black housing lights either... but I dunno how to get mine apart without breaking them. How long did you bake them for? what kind of tape was that and what you're opinion is on brand of paint cause I dont want it to fade but I want it to be nice n shiney. n how many coats? sorry so many questions.

 

hey im new to the Accord's ... just wonder wood Jdm corners b the same ... i have a cd1 i got Jdm headlights but my corners are chrome housed
