i have a 91 crx si and i need a fuel gauge, but i need to find out the ohms with it full and empty but i dont think the readings i got were right does anyone have a sending unit outside the car and can test it and let me knwo the ohms with it full or empty... or has anyone done this before...if anyone can help me please? thanks

 

how were you determining your resistence?

 

by the 2 wires directly ontop of the sending unit... its right under the cargo space...
but i dont know if im making good contact becuase it looks like there is white lube around the connectors and i dont knwo if its getting the full reading you knwo what i mean...
