NHRA 2007 SCHEDULE
The 2007 NHRA SC Schedule is posted at http://www.nhrasportcompact.com tomorrow morning Thursday Dec. 14, 2006. I'll take a guess:
Englishtown 2 races
Moroso 1 race
VMP 1 race
Atco 1 Race
Indy 1 race
Vegas 1 Race
Pomona for the finals. So 8 races with 2 powerade races for the Pro-Rwd in Indy, topeka, and dallas.
I am not gonna guess the dates tho.

Are they going to build a huge canopy or bubble over the whole entire track facility?
And maybe raise the elevation about 100 feet over the swamp there on?

After talking to contacts. Doug the drag strip manager for RMR has been trying to get a hold of Peterson and Javier. They even put The agreed race on RMR's schedule next year in September. But they were not answering there phones or returning there calls for the past 2-3 weeks, But i guess you can put 2 and 2 together and realize who made the decision to put it in Englishtown instead. Not trying to hate but this is just F@%$ing asinine. 2 races on the west coast???? Where do you think SC originate from?? And we have to take this in the shorts.
This is Bull ****!! I guess its who you know and who can pull... The good Ol boy Company. Sorry i'm pisst off . If someone can shed some light on this sore subject and give me the exact facts, don't hesitate to PM me.
Thanks Steve Formerly (9sech22civic)

Ditto and I can now stop biting my tongue!! This event last year had 25,000 people, 5000 show cars and trucks, and we had 300 drag racers with 100% full classes. The street classes for NHRA should be decent and the stands should have some people in them.
I am just happy that I finally get to race. My event promotion days are over!

NO Fontana, Utah, Seattle, Sonoma, Denver, Firebird, oregon...WHY NHRA? WHY?</TD></TR></TABLE>
For 1, some of these tracks are in areas that do not bring in enough spectators.
Second, alot of people that bitch why there's no races at certain tracks, dont even go to the events themselves. I'm tired of all the complainers that whine about it all year, then the weekend comes, and they say they have to work and cant go. ****, I may not have raced myself at certain events, but I was there at almost every single event that is in Cali. Sonoma NHRA, IDRC, CMI, BOTI. the last few years.
3rd, thank you NHRA for getting this to us as soon as possible. Now I get to tell my wife what weekends I'm going to be gone. haha.
