does anyone know who male window visors for 88-89 civic hatchback cause i've been looking for some and i can't seem to find any. does anyone know of a company that makes them for those years. thanks in advance.

i work at an autozone and im pretty sure we can get them, they are made by ventshade, but they are stick on, not like factory honda ones that clipped onto the window frame

ventshade don't make them for 88-89 they only make it for 90-91 styles. i tried the 90-91 ventshade and it comes up too short.

no, the company is called, auto ventshade (AVS), the window visors are called vent visors

I agree that the oems are awesome, but it is not true that they are all the same. 88&89's have pillar mounted seatbelts and thus more narrow door sashes. The 90-91 doors have seatbelts and have wider door sashes.

As for the oem visors i believe all civics in japan have pillar mounted seat belts and resultingly all the visors are the same. I have ef9 visors on my 1990 and they are almost perfect

in the US 89-91 doors are totally different... everywhere else in the world all the doors are like 88 USDM but here the 89-91 have shorter windows because with door mounted seatbelts the back pillar of the door is wider.

i have a 89 and my seatbelt is not on my door.

yeah i did but they don't ship it to hawaii. but i'll try to check another company that sells weathertec


i checked out how much the OEM window visors go for and they are like $180+ and thats for just 2 peices of plastic. just looking for something cheap because i have no a/c and it rains in hawaii a lot. thanks everyone will try to get the ebay ones and see if it will work. and i'll keep you guys updated when i get it in. thanks

Some do some dont i dont remember the specifics for sure, on CRX im pretty sure only the 89 HF has pillar mounted belts but i dono about civics.
