Default NO clutch pressure

My clutch on my Y1 Cable tranny is 2 weeks old (stock). On my way home coming to a stop sign, when I stepped on the clutch half way through it suddenly lost pressure. I managed to yank it on to 1st gear and drove a mile to my house. Any clue? I thought the cable just broke, but that's new as well and it actually still moves when I step on the clutch. I'm guessing it's the throw out bearing. Unfortunately, my amateur bro did the whole swap and clutch install and he's clueless as well. He's going to check/bring down the tranny tomorrow and I would like to lead him to the right direction. My set up is a clutchmaster lightened flywheel and an LS OEM clutch.

Sounds like the throwout bearing. I doubt that the new clutch would die that fast if it was properly broken in.

yeah it sound like it has to do with the throwout bearing to me too. on my OLD LS/Vtec motor, i actually broke the spring on the throwout bearing (i used to drop the clutch a LOT )
anyway, i would check out the spring myself.

could be your pressure plate that went out.
