heatercore help
ok I know both ***** are on hot and only letting heat in....i grab both lines on my heatercore in the engine and one line is hella hot and other line is warm...so that leads to a plugged heater core right????question is how do I change the heatercore, search on here but the links for pictures dont work anymore....
no but i heard to put a hose on it so I am gonna try that tomorrow sense I got off work late today....hoping that unclogs my heatercore....but do I have to pull dash or can I do it with it in there???
You don't have to take off the dash, you can run a hose into the radiator using a flush kit, just make sure your heat control is set all the way hot so it gets to your heater core lines.
ok guys it wont come unclog but I got the dash pretty lose and dont know whats holding it on but i guessing the wires...but what do I need to take off now that the dash is lose to get the heater core out I can see it on the bottom but I dont think it will come down without undoing the whole thing...any advice???

word of advice I just did the same thing, get yourself a service manual from http://www.helminc.com full factory service manual. Has the part numbers etc. Makes taking apart the rex easy.
