Default Blew ACC fuse. car wont start.

Ok. this is in my silver lude with f22

A few days ago car wudnt start so i though it was corrosion on the battery cleaned it off and it started. today i went to take my final and while i was driving the power just shut off and came back on. I thought just more corrosion ill clean it off. When i left work it started and i went to leave and it died. Thought it was the battery again so i cleaned it off but i noticed the headlights and the interior lights and ac worked, but the cd player and the gas/temp gauges wouldn't come on. When they did the car would start when they didn't it would not. so prior i tried a jump no go there. checked the fuses and found the ACC fuse was blown. replaced that and still wouldn't start. keep trying and it finally started. In my 5 minute drive home it died twice. I dint know whats causing this. any one got ne ideas? It turns over fine and makes no abnormal noises when i try to start it.

Thx for reading.

take a look at the 7.5 amp BACKUP fuse. that one powers the ecu.

you have a short somewhere. I had my ACC fuse keep blowing because my o2 sensor wires were touching.

ok. well i checked every fuse in the car. there all fine. i looked into main relay, but trouble shooting says to see if cel stays on when you turn key to on mode, but in my sit the gas/temp gauge cluster dosnt turn on at all...could this be ignition switch?

Get a new ignition switch. There has been honda TSB's on this before. It said word for word "can cause engine to stall" I would try that before anything else.

How many miles do you have on your lude anyways? The problem was known to come up around 70,000. I would just go to a junkyard and pull one of a newer lude. Its very easy to replace also. Its held in by two phillips head screws.

my silver lude is getting close to the 290k mile range. 1st ima solder the ignition wires. they were spliced into and connected back together. so ima go ahead and solder them b/c i have a feeling thats the culprit, but if not ill just replace the switch.

yeah try that. But on the TSB it said the contact points get dirty and worn down causing a shitty connection so you might have to buy a new switch.
