How to paint spark plug wires/wire caps?

This is my first time doing this and I would like to paint it somewhat dark blue (earth's water color). How should I prepare and setup? How do I remove the spark plug wires?

you can paint them, but as soon as you bend one, the paint will crack.

^ if you used a rebberized spray on coating they shouldnt crack. But just buy new ones

I can paint em for you for $50 bucks. I have special paint for spark plug wires and wire caps.
