ok i installed these blue green indiglo's in my girlfreinds car a couple days ago

i connected the red wire from the guages to the red wire with the black line
to get power and the black wire of the guages to ground.
and they worked for about a day. two nights
i was driving with her and they started to blink every so often off and then on
we went to diner and when she started her car all three guages went out.
so do you think one of my connections is bad.
is this an ok way to hook these up , i mean i dont need to install any resistors right?
could her keyless entry have anything to do with this.
and how did you guys hook up your indiglo guages in your civic.

its probably a bad ground or not a good hook up for power just rewire im sure its not that difficult

 

some times if you get cheep ones they will break where the little tabs come off the gauges them selves.. so becarefull not to bend them at a harsh angle other wise they will break and not work... i had some cheepy ones that did that.. or check your power conection get a "add a fuse" from a auto parts store and connect tthat way so you can do it clean.. if that helps
