im thinkin of investing in some boots to ride in for the spring and track seasons...................i looked at some Alpinestar SMX plus boots and like how they feel and flex. anyone else got pros/cons about Alpinestar boots????

I love mine. The squeaking while walking is a bit annoying at times. I would not pay full price for them though. If was going to spend that much I would get the Sidi Vertigo's for the added heel protection and bionic looking ankle brace.

 

i got the smx plus and they are ******* comfortable as hell. being in them for nearly 9 hours straight and i was still fine. the only thing i dont like about them is after theyre broken in they squeak when you walk but some of my friends have sprayed wd40 and it stopped. it doesnt bother me though

 

I have SMX's and like them very much.

After a year of daily riding, the shift pad has started to come apart though.

 

i have the smx plus, they're pretty comfortable. Just remember to wear tube socks.

no only do i wear boots, i wear my full suit

 

i have Alpinestars SMX-R. very comfy boots, no complaints at all. look around on ebay, you find some pretty good deals for them on there, brand new in the box.

 

soo i ended up buying them. and from reading some imput on them, i decided to go with a size 8. it seems like people go a size smaller than their actual shoe size...........wat size r most of u guys wearing???

 

My SMX wutchamacallits are more comfortable than my Addidas running shoes
