ok well. is it better to have a higher HP at a higher rpm or at a lower RPM
Whats the deal with HP and RPMS
trying to understand them better. since im wanting to work on my car itd be nice to have a better understanding of how the 2 correspond

This is a trick question; do you want a dragster or a road racer. Low RPM horsepower if you want to be a dragster, high RPM horsepower if you want to be a speed racer.
The stock configuration of the Honda will give the most output in the mid range 3-4000 RPM.

alright i see what ya mean.
but since hondas as u said run in the mid range between high and low rpms is this seen as an advantage? or disadvantage?

HP = torque x rpm / 5252, so when comparing the same HP engines at a low rpm and at a high rpm, the engine with the HP at low rpm produces more torque (according to the equation).
