Default H22a Vtec

Vtec works twice then stops
there are no codes in the memory
and the motor is full of oil and
there are no dents in the oil pan
and cleaned the filter.
? is there a way to jump the vtec pressure
switch so it will read 0 volts or whatever
so vtec will work for testing only
cause i did the vtec solenoid
already it is fine.
need to test the pressure switch.
can i use a 10k resistor or what
ever.

if the solinoid was opening but the presure switch was bad then the ecu would throw a code and say VTEC malfunction.

you need to test your oil presure the way the helms says. if you say you tested the solinoid then that should be ok.. i mean u applied 12 colts and it opens and closes?

you have no codes at all?

check what your oil presure is and look up in the FAQ to my "why vtec doesn't engauge" thread
