Word.
Easiest way I've seen is to jack up the front, take the fender off (for clearance), then put a jack on a piece of wood and let the whole engine down. If you let just the tranny side down, sometimes it puts too much stress on the driver's side mount. You don't need to get it out, just lower it, so you can just lower it on a jack (sorta like putting the engine on a stand) and then can remove the tranny - then just pump it back up into there when you're done.
I don't know, easiest way I've seen asside from a trick my friend used once which was unbolt the mounts, put a front end loader with forks instead of a bucket up to the side put the forks right through the windows, lift the car 20 ft in the air and the engine just sits there...
This only works if you have a front end loader with a fork end (instead of a bucket)...
It was also a totalled car....and I don't know how much damage ur gonna do to your car by doing it that way. Not recommended unless the body's junk, but takes 10 ******* minutes after you let all the freon out....
