Default WRECKED

this sucks. guy cuts me off in front of intersection and decides to put brakes on for a yellow light...i slam into him. thanks to ford, his bumper was raised and missed my bumper and instead bent the radiator, messed up the hood, broke the lights, and im sure plenty of other stuff ( i saw a light brown fluid leaking). drove it to a mechanic (somehow and with plenty of noise) and said he couild get it to where it looks brand new and works like it did before the crash or total it. any advice or experience would help.

my car: 97 accord 4dr Ex 2.2l

I'm assuming you filed a police report and exchanged insurance info.

Without seeing any pics I won't guess if your insurance will total it.

If they do though you could buy it back and if you're very mechanical fix it and have some money in your pocket. I have had a few friends go this route with good results.

As long as your frame isn't bent I would think you could fix all of this stuff for less than $1000 dollars... less if you can find a cd5 in the junkyard with the parts you need.

sorry to hear about the wreck and good luck.
