Can this be fixed? Carbon Fiber hood, gel coat cracking



Vis Carbon fiber hood paid $50 for it, no damage to the hood itself, just the gel coating looks like ****

Won't work if it's peeling..
Best bet will be to wet sand it down with like 800 or 1200 grit, then reclear it... I am going to do this to my trunk sooner than later...
