Default Carbon Fiber

whats a good wax for carbon fiber? I just got a carbon fiber hood but it needs to be waxed bad and was just wondering what brand personally seem to be the best.

mothers works well for me, but there are so many types of wax. Why does it need waxing? There are different waxes for different reasons.... more info

if the hood is dull compound it out with a high speed buffer and wash and wax should come out like new if you do it properly. or you wet sand it and spray clearcoat on it.

i guess you've never cleaned a cf hood with peanut butter.

Makes it look like new.

Or he could paint it and tell the sunfading BS to F off.

i did it a couple times.. just to show people that it works. its the natrual oils in it that makes things shiney

It helps get wax residue off your trim too from what i have heard, but after the oil fades, your trim will still look as it did minus the residue

My CF is fading from the sun that is why I had asked. Somebody told me a while back instead of getting it re-clearcoated there was a special kind of waxed that he used. Just wondering what you guys thought was best.

bro use the buffer and compound it out then wax it. it is not hard trust me.
