Default Auto Manual Cams... are they different?

I hope this thread will show some PROOF. I have yet to see any proof. Ive searched almost all related size cam threads, none of which show proof.

From what I have seen, USDM cams are the same, auto/manual. It seems that the D series USDM have the same part #s.

Is there an exclusionary cam? I've heard something about the first gen B16 cams auto/manual being different.

what about JDM, such as the D15B vtec, auto/manual? are they the same?

I want proof, please only post if you have something to back yourself up, or a bump. Id love to put this myth/fact to rest.

TIA HT
