No spark??? got fuel and air..
it's a stock 95 civic ex. checked for spark and had none so i replaced the dizzy with a reman from napa autoparts. the dizzy came with new ignitor and coil. i swap it in and it still has no spark. what else could it be?? i know the alternator is a little weak but while trying to start the car i had the battery jumped with a known good one just to make sure there's enough power. but still no spark?
Check all the fuses, especialy #36
There should be 12v at the BLK/YEL wire going to the coil and igniter with the ignition key in the "on" position, if not follow back thru ignition switch, f39,f41.
You can check the coil with an ohmmeter..
disconnect wires to coil, should be....
.6 to .8 ohm from A to B
13,200 to 19,800 ohm from A to secondary winding, (spark plug output)
Igniter input check..
disconnect all 4 wires from igniter, be sure none are touching chassis ground, then turn on ignition switch.
There should be battery voltage between BLK/YEL and ground, if not, ignition switch, f39, f41.
There should be batt volts between BLU/WHT and gnd, if not ,coil.
