Hey guys I live in the san gabriel valley. Does anyone know of any upcoming events. I really want to run my car, and I prefer 1/4. Im down to drive to californiaspeedway, but I looked on their site and couldn't find any dates for events? Maybe cause of all the NHRA stuff.

Lacr palmdale has test n tune on dec 16 9am to 3pm open to all racers.

 

is it 1/4 ????

 

yeah but its also 4k feet above sea level...good for an additional 4 tenths on your time slip...but if your just lookin for a test n tune its pretty cool cuz you get a lot of runs in unlike the other 1/4 mile track

Thank you, I tried my best to represent for the Imports. I was hoping to run 9.90 to get kicked out but at least I had the highest MPH for the day...it was so windy and the wind was blowing alot of dirt from 1/8 to the end of the 1/4, I had no traction at all. I turned my boost way down and went faster.

They say the gates open at 6:00 am but when I got there at 6:30 there was about 300 people already in line.

yea palmdale is only good for working on launching & reaction NOTHING MORE! cause that track sucks ***

As long as there timming lights are consistant that is all that matters.
If your going just to get a time slip and compare it to everyone elses online..... just stay home.

come on guys im willing to drive a few hours or more, is there another track somewhere?

 

Fontana has a race weekend on the 20th and 21st of Jan. its the summit ET team race. You will get probably two time trials and then go into competition for your next run. If you win, then you get more runs. If you lose round one, then you got three hits at the track and you are done for the day.
