Auto to Manual swap help!!! mount question...
Alright, so this swap is a little harder then i intended. I still plan on finishing, but i have a few questions first:
1. Do you really have to weld in a passenger side manual Trans mount? And if you do, where can i buy it from? I have a DX hatch parts car that was manual, but it is very hard to get to that bracket to drill out some of the welds without ******* it up... any suggestions?
2. Does anyone have any wiring diagrams for what i have to wire up for the auto to manual swap? I found one online, but it doesn't tell me **** about what i have to wire. I do know its the reverse lights, and the park/neutral switch, but I have no clue what to do.
And before anyone goes rambling on about it being covered before, and telling me to search... well I did search. I can not for the life of me come up with anything. I am just looking for straight up help. I would love to finish my project, i just need the right help. Thank you to everyone who is willing to help out a fellow EF'er!!!

You can actually get that mount from any dealership. I had to get one when mine ripped off. Can't remember how much it was, not that it would matter because of my employee discount. Sorry I don't have more info for you.
When i did mine i used the stock passenger side mount that came with the 5spd tranny. The mount i had trouble with was the rear mount, i used the one that came with the 5spd and had to move it over about an inch from where the auto mount was.
The holes where already there and threaded so that was it. My car is a 90 DX so yours should be that same. I never heard of welding or cutting any mounts. I did this swap twice on both my hatches and did the same thing with the mounts.
As far as wiring i still don`t have my reverse lights hooked up but the park/neutral thing i just took the two big black wires that are soilder to the park position and cut them and spliced them together. Just make sure you leave it in neutral when you start you car. I don`t have a clutch switch, my pedal assembly has one but my interior harness dosen`t have the connector. That was it.

90civicsi is right
all you need are stock 5 speed mounts (the three that bolt to the tranny)
The wiring is cake
take two wires from the tranny (reverse lights) and run them up to where the auto console was
heres a link from another forum in which i posted a link

I couldn`t get the link to work, it shows how the reverse light are run. Anyone know a super easy way other than running a toggle switch or running the wires to the auto shifter wires?
