clutch compression question
Hey,
Got a question for you all. I recently got a new clutch on my car. It's a 99 ek hatchback. The new clutch is nothing special. When I got the car back, the clutch was very easily depressible. It felt exactly like my cousins rsx type s clutch. There was very little resistance, and felt very light. Now here's the problem. I took it to one of my friends shops to get it checked out, and the guy changed the way the pedal felt when it's pressed, making it feel a lot like how it was before the clutch installation. He didn't do anything major, but he did tighten something up. So basically I want the clutch pedal to feel like it did after I got the new clutch installed. Any insight on how I could go about doing that?

obviously the pedal to the far left is the clutch pedal...
Part #15 is the adjustment

Ok, so went under there, took a look around and saw what looked to me like part #15. it looked like a small rod, with a bolt holding it in place. the rod had a wire connected to the far end. is this the piece i'm supposed to be adjusting? or am i actually looking at part #40?

ok, man, i went back out there. i am definately looking at part #15. I'm not exactly sure what to do though. this piece has a pin looking thing sticking out from the end of it, and when the pedal is pressed in all the way, it presses this pin in.
ok, i just want to make sure we're on the same page. what i'm trying to do, is make it so that the pedal can be pressed more easily. from the moment i touch it, to when my foot hits the floor. basically i'm trying to get less resistance from the pedal.
will adjusting part #15 achieve that? it seems like all i would be doing is changing how deep the pin gets pushed in by the pedal instead of changing the amount of resistance the pedal is pushing back on my foot.
