clutch knocking??
well yea when i turn on the car and have my foot off the clutch pedal i hear a slow knocking noise coming from the front...and when i accelerate off first it starts making wierd noises but when im driving normal im not sure if its making noises cuz of my exhaust is pretty loud
not necessarily. you don't HAVE to replace the clutch, but you are gonna have to remove it to replace those 2 parts so you might as well. never hurts to put a brand new clutch in when the tranny comes off for any type of repair down there.

you can buy a throwout bearing seperate but i aggree with kamin, anytime you pull the tranny away from the motor its a good idea to just replace it all, that way you done have to pull everything apart later on, im having the same problem as you, just havent had time to replace it yet....anyways good luck with yours.

i drove mine for about 2 mounths before i had saved up enough to get a new clutch and everything, like people have said....while you have the tranny off might as well change it all,
just don't go cheap, and don't get a Centerforce, they suck ***, i got the dual friction and it wouldn't hold 4th at the track at all and my car is only pushing just over 200whp, so i am now saving up again to get a ACT
